Hand Embroidery Class

This class is designed for anyone who has a basic understanding of hand embroidery and is looking to take their skills to the next level. In this course, students will learn advanced stitching techniques, such as beadwork, stone embroidery, and zardosi embroidery. You will also learn how to convert basic stitches into intricate designs, such as puttas and batches.

In this class you will learn the following :

1. Introduction to Advanced Embroidery Techniques

• Explanation of the different types of advanced embroidery techniques
• Materials required for each technique
• Safety precautions

2. Beadwork Embroidery

• Types of beads and how to select them
• Techniques for stitching beads onto fabric
• Creating patterns using beads
• Creating three-dimensional designs using beads

3. Stone Embroidery

• Types of stones and how to select them
• Techniques for stitching stones onto fabric
• Creating patterns using stones
• Creating three-dimensional designs using stones

4. Zardosi Embroidery

• Explanation of zardosi embroidery and its history
• Materials required for zardosi embroidery
• Techniques for stitching zardosi onto fabric
• Creating patterns using zardosi
• Creating three-dimensional designs using zardosi

5. Converting Stitches into Puttas and Batches

• Explanation of puttas and batches
• Techniques for converting basic stitches into puttas and batches
• Creating patterns using puttas and batches
• Creating three-dimensional designs using puttas and batches

6. Final Project

• You will be given a final project to showcase their newly acquired skills.
• You will be required to create a unique design using any of the advanced embroidery techniques learned in the course.
